  • Bible Book Relay

    Rules:

    1. Divide students into teams and provide each team with a set of flashcards with Bible book names written on them.

    3. On "Go," the first player from each team runs to the basket, picks a flashcard, and must run back to their team to place the flashcard in the correct order of the Bible books.
    4. The next player then runs to the basket and repeats the process until all the flashcards are used and correctly placed.
    5. The first team to correctly order all the Bible books wins.
  • Fruit of the Spirit Tag

    Rules:

    1. Assign each student a "Fruit of the Spirit" (e.g., love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control).
    2. One student (the tagger) starts as "The Fruit Inspector" and must call out a fruit. The student assigned that fruit must run and tag another player before getting tagged themselves.
    3. If a player gets tagged, they become the new Fruit Inspector. Play continues until all students have had a turn as the Fruit Inspector.
    4. Encourage discussion about how each fruit relates to their behavior on and off the court.
  • Bible Verse Shootout

    Rules:

    1. Write various Bible verses related to teamwork, sportsmanship, and faith on pieces of paper and place them around the court.
    2. Divide students into pairs and assign each pair a basketball to share.
    3. When a verse is called out, one player from each pair must dribble the ball to that verse, read it aloud, and then take a shot from a designated spot on the court.
    4. Players earn points for successfully shooting the ball after reading the verse. The pair with the most points at the end wins.
