Create a large cirlce/ring with hula hoops, inside this cirlce place a hula hoop in the centre which will act as a target. Students will pair up (or work again in groups of threes depending on numbers) and stand behind a hula hoop. The aim of the game is for groups to roll their tennis ball into the hula hoop and collect seaweed (large pile of bean bags/objects of your choosing - ensure there will be enough to have a long round). If a student roles their tennis ball into the hula hoop, they will retrieve the tennis ball, ONE piece of seaweed and will then take it back to their team and place it inside their hula hoop. That player will hand the tennis ball to the player at the front and move to the back, awaiting their next turn. If the tennis ball does not stop inside the hula hoop, that player will not be allowed to collect seaweed. Once all treasure has been collected from the centre the round is over. Teams will count up collected seaweed to see who got the most and declared winners.

PROGRESSIONS:

- Once all seaweed from the centre is collected, students will then aim for other teams hula hoops and roll their tennis ball inside and collect a bean bag if done successfully. If the tennis ball misses, no seaweed will be collected.
RULE:
- Introduce a rule where no team is allowed to roll their tennis ball into the teams hula hoop that is located next to them on either side.
