Split class into teams of 4-6. Mark out playing squares with cones, ensuring that there is enough space to fit 2 teams in at once. One of the teams is on offence and must pass the ball around within their team. The other team is on defence and must start with only one defender in the field of play. Each time that the offensive team completes 5 catches, another defender is added into the game. If the ball is passed and it is not caught then that pass will not count. Players can run with that ball. Defenders must try to tag the person with the ball. 5 tags before 5 catches means a swap over.
Make the area bigger to make it easier for the attackers to dodge defenders or smaller to make it harder. Change the number of passes or tags the teams have to complete to make the game easier or more challenging. Start with more or less attacking players inside area.
