Divide the class into two even teams. Each player within the team will have a role in this activity such as:

- bottle filler
- bottle passer
- bottle pourer
- pipe holder

The aim for each team is to fill the pipe without spilling any water. However, pipes have holes in them so players from each team can use any method they like to block them (fingers, toes etc) so no water escapes.
Water will be provided in large buckets with 1 or 2 players stood next to these buckets holding water bottles. They will fill the bottles and pass them down the chain of team mates (stood on spots) until they reach the end where a pourer will be located. They must tip water into the pipe without spilling any. Once their bottle is empty they must pass it back down the chain (not skipping anyone) to the start where the bottle will be filled again. This process is repeated many times until the pipe is full. Which ever team can fill their pipe the quickest will be declared winners.

RULES:

- When passing the bottle down the chain, no players in the team can be skipped
- If water is spilt while passing it down the chain, it must go back to the start and passed down the chain again
- At any point while water is being poured into the pipe and is spilt, that bottle must stop being poured and passed back down the chain to the start to try again
- Bottles can be full/empty as teams like (speed vs volume = strategy)
- At the end of each round, players must change position and have a turn at doing something different

PROGRESSIONS:

- can add/subtract more than one bottle
- limit the amount of pipe holders to increase difficulty
