Welcome to the "SUSD 2025 - Team Building Activities" program, designed to foster comradery, communication, trust, and fun among youth teams. Tailored specifically for the energetic and impressionable age group of 10 to 13-year-olds, this program aims to engage participants through dynamic and physically active lessons. Each session is crafted to stand alone, ensuring flexibility and variety while maintaining a consistent focus on building a strong, cohesive team spirit.
Our program goals include:
Participants form a circle, take hands with two different people across the circle, and work together to untangle themselves into a single loop.
Teams race through a series of stations, each requiring a different team task, such as hula hooping or balancing an egg on a spoon.
Participants work in teams to follow clues and complete tasks leading them to hidden treasures around the area.
One blindfolded team member navigates an obstacle course with help from their teammates' verbal cues, fostering trust and communication.
Teams compete to build the tallest tower using balloons and tape, encouraging creativity and teamwork.
Teams create protective devices to prevent an egg from breaking when dropped, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
Teams strategize and work together to capture the opposing team's flag while defending their own, promoting strategy and teamwork.
Teams race to find and collect items from a list, combining the excitement of a scavenger hunt with the energy of a relay.
