Warm up/cool down - Chain Tag

From the group of students, select taggers (3-5 depending on numbers). Non-taggers will stand on a line at the end of the court whilst the taggers will stand at halfway. When all players are in position, the coach/ref will count down from three and call out "GO". All players must run from one end of the court to the other without being tagged. If they were tagged, for the rest of the game they will now too be taggers but must link arms with another tagger in order to move around and chase after other players.
Players must stay within the boundaries of the court otherwise they will become a tagger if they run out. Once the round is over and all players that have not been tagged are stood along the line, the coach/ref will count down again and call out "GO" for all players to run. The player that has not been tagged at the end and is still left will be declared the winner.

PROGRESSIONS:

- Increase/decrease the size chains can be (5 players or as big as 10 players) making it harder fot the players to run to the other end without being tagged.
