From the group of students, select taggers (3-5 depending on numbers). Non-taggers will stand on a line at the end of the court whilst the taggers will stand at halfway. A tagger will call out instructions, for example, "if you are wearing black shoes". Those that have black coloured shoes must run from one end of the court to the other without being tagged. If they were tagged, for the rest of the game they will now too be taggers and are able to run around tagging other players. When "bulldog" is called out by the coach/ref, everyone else may run to the other end. Players must stay within the boundaries of the court otherwise they will become a tagger if they run out. Once the round is over and all players that have not been tagged are stood along the line, a different tagger will call out a new set of instructions; "if you have a pet". If players have a pet, they must run to the other end. The player that has not been tagged at the end and is still left will be declared the winner.
