Stone age touch is played with with 2 high jump mats one each end of a baskeball court, oppsite each other with enough room to easily run around the back of the mat with out going out of the court. 2 points are recived if a player is passed the rugby ball in mid air and then lands on the mat , 1 point is awarded if the player touches the mat with the rugby ball. Rules are similar to touch rugby with 2 teams playing each other each team having aprox 6 players per per team. If class numbers are large then it works well with multiple teams playing a tourment with short fast game times. There is no maximum amount of touches and ball can be passed any direction. A change of possession takes place if the ball is dropped by the attacking team.
