1) Students will hold bow handle with their non-writing hand
2) The bow will be turned on its side ("sleeping") so their knuckles point to the sky (bow is horizontally parallel to ground).
3) Place an arrow in the notch of handle - above the thumb on the non-writing hand
4) Ensure white "feather" on arrow is pointing toward sky so it doesn't get caught on string when releasing
5) Turn the bow so it is held upright with a slight sideway tilt so the arrow doesn't fall out of notch
6) Using the finger tip creases of the index and middle finger of the writing hand, place on string grip pads and hold "lightly".
7) With a fully extended non-writing arm, elevate bow high enough to visually aim down sights toward target - tilt upward so arrow gets height initially before coming back down
8) Writing arm will now pull back on string as far ass possible (will differ depending on individuals abilities/strength) until it can't go any further and release.
9) When releasing, maintain arm position and extend finger tips (let go of grip) allowing string to shoot arrow smoothly.
