Key Objectives

What do each of the letters in BEEF stand for?

Step 1 of 2

Paired Beef

Warm Up

Students will be in pairs (2 metres apart). The students will use the BEEF shooting technique to shoot the ball to each other, imagining there is a hoop in between them that they are scoring on. This will enforce aiming high rather than shooting flat.

Coaches walk around the students helping/critiquing on anything you notice.

Step 2 of 2

Shooting - 20

Activities

Two groups of equal sizes, in a line facing a hoop. The players take turns at shooting the ball into the hoop, if a basket is made that team gets 2 points. If the student misses they get the rebound and pass it to the next person in line for their turn. The winning team will be the first team to 20.
