Divide the class into two even teams and split them across a defined playing area with a centre line (can use line if played on a court or marked lines with cones on a grass field) that will seperate each team. At each end of the court, walk in toward the centre 5metres from the out line which will create an "end-zone". The goal of the game is for each team to get all their players to the end zone. Once a team has managed to do this successfully, they will be declared winners.
RULES:
- Once a player crosses the centre line and enters the other teams half, you can be tagged. If you do get tagged you are now frozen and must stand still where you were tagged.
- To rescue frozen players, a team mate must cross the centre line and tag that player that is frozen.
When a team mate has been rescued, you then must hold them by the arm and pull them back to your half. Players from the opposing team can not tag you while you are rescuing a frozen team mate/being rescued
- Anyone from your team can rescue frozen players.
- Only one person can be rescued at a time
PROGRESSION:
- Once you have been tagged you have been temporarily from the game and must stand on the side of the court in a line next to your teams half. Once someone from your team makes it to the endzone - you can rejoin your team and run to the end zone.
If tagged, you have been permanently eliminated from the game. The team with the most players in the end zone at the end will be declared winners.
