Divide class into mini groups (depending on class numbers, roughly 4 groups that consist of 6 players in each team - if class is bigger, 4 groups that consist of 7 players each) and split an area in half whether it be a court with the halfway line or grass field with cones marking a centre line. This will enable two teams to play against each other (6v6 or 7v7). One team will start with the ball as an attacking team, whilst the other team will be the defending team. The aim is to make 5 consecutive pass amongst your team without the ball being dropped, if this is achieved that team will get one point. The ball is handed over to the other team to see if they can connect 5.
RULES:
- If a ball is dropped, that team must start again from 0 and try connect passes up to 5 for a point
- The player holding the ball is not allowed to run with it - feet are "stuck in the mud"
- Defenders may only intercept passes, they can not dislodge a ball from an attacking players hands. The ball will be given back to the defending team and they must start again from 0 trying to connect passes up to 5
- No defenders can mark the passer from the attacking team
- If a ball is thrown outside the playing boundary it will be a turnover of possession
