Children spread out within the room, one person starts with the ball.

Coach counts down from 3, no one can talk apart from coaches when reaches 1.

Children must make catches and throws between people in the room, without moving feet or talking.

Player is “out”, and must sit down if:

  1. Drops the ball

  2. Talks

  3. Does a poor pass that no one could catch

Play continues until one person is left standing.

Person who wins gets to start with the ball in the next round, where everyone can stand up and re join.

For younger kids, consider using a bigger ball, giving them lives/chances, or start standing in a circle to make it easier.

Progression: One handed catches, Least dominant hand throws, Stand on one foot (if they lose balance, they’re out), “Silent Tree” - same idea but starting sitting down, when a person makes a mistake or noise they stand up and become a tree (feet can’t move).
