Using a bat the person has to hit the ball up in the air as many times as they can without the ball touching the ground.
Progressions:
- Use different sized bats & balls for modifications (eg tennis racquet).
- Make a line of cones to navigate whilst hitting the ball up, or a target to get to before the ball hits the ground. (ie put a cone 10m away and they have to see if they can get to that cone whilst hitting the ball up - if it is dropped they have to go back to start).
- do it in partners, they must pass the ball between them using the bat., without it hitting the ground.
- can use one bounce only rule if too hard to hit it up consecutively.
