Set up two goals at either end of the court / field. Split class into two even teams. Get the students to line up along the side of the court behind a cone at around the halfway line. The coach will call a number, for example THREE, the first three students from each team’s line will run around a cone and then head towards their goal. The soccer ball is rolled in the direction of one team (avoid rolling the ball into the middle as students collide) the team that gathers the ball will try and score a goal. The game ends when either a team scores a goal or the coach blows their whistle. That group of students return to the back of their line and the coach will call a new number.

Encourage the students to pass the ball to their teammates. This can be achieved by adding in a rule that there needs to be at least two passes and two traps of the ball before the team can score a goal.

No student is allowed to use their hands during the game and there are no designated goalies.

Modifications

Change the rule of how many passes / traps they have to do before the can score. Increase / decrease the size of the goals. Increase / decrease the size of the playing area.
